PPC Manager

  • Job Description
    The PPC Manager manages PPC campaigns in Google, Yahoo, MSN, and several other tier 2 platforms. The PPC manager would be responsible for tasks such as keyword research, ad grouping, writing ad copy, making recommendations on landing pages, and monitoring and maintaining PPC campaigns. The PPC Manager will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting on all PPC accounts each month

    Improve quality score and conversion rates via landing page optimization
    Campaign maintenance and monitoring
    Produce monthly client reports and participate in client conference calls


  • Qualifications
    2+ years direct PPC experience with Google AdWords, and Yahoo! Search Marketing
    Track record of analyzing PPC issues and opportunities, and providing and implementing recommendations to improve campaigns
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Detail oriented
    Ability to be self-directed, highly motivated and have fun while working hard in a startup environment
    Effective communicator with internal staff and clients

Creative Copy Writer

The Web Copywriter will be responsible for SEO Copywriting where they will write articles of between 400 and 600 words for client websites. Articles must be well written and readable, whilst incorporating sound SEO principles in order to improve both the content of the site and its ranking on major search engines.

As the Web Copywriter, you will also be involved with Blogs. Using their own website as a virtual notice board, Blog articles are short, promotional articles of around 300 words. Highly optimized and written in order to encourage readers to click through to the client’s own website, these articles must be accurate, punchy and well-written.

There may also be occasions when you may be asked to write general marketing or promotional copy, either for client websites or for the company’s own marketing purposes, Google AdWords or other pay per click advertising.

To be successful in this fantastic opportunity, as the Web Copywriter you will be a fluent, confident and clear writer, able to communicate a wide range of information effectively and concisely. You must be able to adapt your writing to include SEO principles and must have the creativity to write multiple yet distinct articles to a single keyword. Able to manage your own workload, and yet contribute as part of a team, you must be organized and flexible in your approach to the work.

As the Web Copywriter, you will take responsibility for your own work, ensuring accuracy both in content and in writing. General good writing skills, including grammar, vocabulary, punctuation, and style are important, as is the willingness to proof-read articles and amend according to internal or client requests.

No specific qualifications are required for this position, although an English-based degree (or equivalent); journalism or creative writing qualification would be an advantage.

You should demonstrate your writing experience wherever possible. Any relevant writing experience will be considered – from technical manuals to personal creative writing projects.
